Schools interested in applying for certification as a GST program should order the Automobile Certification Manual and fill out the Automobile application form as directed.

The Need

Program Requirements

  • Secondary or Post-Secondary schools may certify programs under GST
  • Minimum total of 500 hours of instruction

  • Instructors must attend 20 hours of in-service training annually
  • Articulation with ASE-certified post-secondary program required
